The wastes included in this stream are from the the Gas by pass plant and Gas drier areas. Solid waste arises mainly from maintenance and refurbishment work consisting of items which have been contaminated during operation. Additionally material arising from these areas may include disposable PPE, sampling material and cleaning material.

3N43 - Combustible Radioactive Waste Disposal (CRAWD) LLW
The wastes included in stream 3N34 are from the Combustible Radioactive Waste Disposal facility (CRAWD) and the Decontamination Centre (DCC) on the plant. Solid waste arises mainly from maintenance and refurbishment work consisting of items which have been contaminated during operation. Additionally material arising from these areas may include disposable PPE, sampling material and cleaning material.
